Gossip girl here, no, I’m teasing. I’m Harper, your resident it girl. As I sit here, at my desk, the arrival of spring fills me with an overwhelming joy as I type away on my rose keyboard this very lettering that draws you to me. I feel at ease typing this, a calm sunrise, little to no traffic, just the music to my ears that is low volume Lana del Rey and the song of a robin on a Sunday morning. I stare down at my hot chamomile tea and newly bought scrambled eggs and can’t help but smile at the perfection I’ve found in such simplicity.

This is what it means to be an it girl. Perfect simplicity. Not trying too hard. Beauty doesn’t ask for attention. Besides, who wants that girl? That girl is a cheap copy. She has duplicates everywhere you look. There are so many variations of her is she really even true? Or just a vague fantasy? Basically, she’s extremely replaceable. Me, the it girl though, I am irreplaceable. Well, we all have our wannabes, but in short, I’m an original. That’s how us it girls never have a dupe or copycat. And that is why we are superior.
